So red is boring and blue is too goody goody. Maybe you’re just the person that likes to maim/maul/blast/disembowel people with the cutest color possible. I don’t know, it’s not really my business. So who am I to impede your quest for a Pink or “Magenta” color crystal for your Star Wars: The Old Republic weapon of choice. Hop on past the jump to find yourself a full guide to nabbing your own.

Here is a picture of what you’re looking for. They resemble cellphone towers but in actuality they are moisture harvesters. They are spread throughout Tatooin in roughly the circled areas below.

Affixed tot hese moisture harvesters you’ll eventually find a accessable resevoir or access panel? To me it just looks like ablue plate. When the object is on cooldown, it will not display its physical form at all. So to give you an idea of what you are looking for, here’s a nice shot of it.

Once you find and activate an available panel, you will receive a buf that reads something like being “refreshed.” Now while there is absolutely no time limit to the buff itself, it will not persist through death, so you will wan’t to be quite careful while making your way to the next step on Hoth. Mind those elevator gaps.

Now that you’ve survived your trip to Hoth, you will want to make your way over to Leth outpost. Imperials have a flight point right to this place. I’m not sure how republics get there, if they have a flight point near it or have their own hill. In any event all you need to do once landing at Leth Outpost is simply march up the hillside to the north of the Outpost. Continue up the hillside until you see the message below.

Now let’s talk about the water. The water will stack if it is traded to you or if you pull one out of your storage locker. However, you will want to make absolutely sure you only have ONE on you for the next steps. It will consume all the water in your inventory. So if you were hoping to get more than one crystal by having two ready and waiting, you’re going to want to leave one of them in your storage or bring a friend to keep hold of it.
Now you’ll take your water to the final leg of the adventure on Illum. Here you’ll make your way to the location shown below where you will find a depleted crystal.\

And here is the crystal you are looking for.

Once you’ve reached this point you will need to use the crystal. Be warned the Force Ghost that spawns is pretty tough. I’d recommend having a tank and a healer and a solid dps.

Once you’ve killed the ghost he will litter the ground with some crystals. You’ll simply activate them and obtain the Magenta Adegan Crystal you need to have your pink or “magenta” color crystal crafted by an Artificer whom is in possession of the schematic required. The rest of the materials are tradeable and can be bought on the galactic market or obtained through crew skills.
You’ll Need:
Now if you’re an Artificer and want to obtain the schematics to make these Magenta Color Crystals, you’ll need to make your way over to Belsavis. You’need to face off against Th Primal Destroyer and hope for a drop. This tusked gentlemen is a level 50 world boss. You’ll need a group of probably 8 to be safe. I am sure a smaller group could do it. Note that the schematics are not a guaranteed drop, and that they will be Bind on Pickup. So make sure you’re artificer is there.

Here is where you’l find him.
