Ha, I just got back from vacation last week, and was pretty close to Pecatonica. Well, I-39 was as close as I got, but that's about 1000 miles closer than I normally am. I grew up in a tiny town in Illinois called Potomac.

I did 9 states in 7 days on my trip, 6 of which were new to me. I'm trying to cross every state off the map, and I only have about a dozen or so left. I spent the entire trip with only my blackberry to access the interwebs, and 3 full days with no signal whatsoever whilst in the Black Hills.

Brooks, I am now intrigued by your "as yet unnanounced project".

This is just Geoff going on this trip. I'll still be around! Hopefully I beat Geoff over the head about using backseat car time to compose rambling incoherent thoughts about games and the industry for mobile games blogging.
If I find anything I'll still post. Although I'm pretty busy with this as of yet unannounced project.

Right on. Sometimes you just gotta get out and travel around. I'm not sure if going to see the family is something I'd want, but it's better than nothing. Have a good trip.
