These cupcakes had a layover on the Brain Slug planet and decided to stay of their own free will, so they say at least. Interesting side note Futurama writers had originally intended to  keep Hermes Conrad under the Brain Slug effect for a lengthy duration, but opted not to, citing their love for his Caribbean accent.
