The 5th installment in the indie game developer Robotube’s Bit Museum series of videos is out and it is all about Nintendo Game & Watch. It features several examples of the various Game & Watch form factors as well as a little history on their creation. One of the more interesting tidbits is the discussion regarding how the innovations that took place in the Game & Watch series ended up inspiring future designs that are still in use today.

I actually remember a friend having one of the orange plastic and metal cased Donkey Kong Game & Watch Systems. Though until now I  was, admittedly, completely clueless to the existence of a whole series of the systems. The video runs about 13 minutes long so be sure to grab a soda!
