Two Fedoras

A new Doctor Who trailer just went up and it appears to indicate the inclusion of a whole lot of returning baddies in episodes to come. One such group of villains I was happy to see were the “Weeping Angels” from one of my favorite episodes “Blink”. That being said however, the trailer itself has an exceptionally different feel to it. Obviously the Doctor himself is different, but it goes beyond that. It is jam packed with action and seems to take on a sense of whimsy, a vibe I have never really gotten from a Doctor Who episode before. I don’t really have a positive or negative reaction to that aspect of it. As far as how this bodes for the series as a whole, I got no clue.

On the plus side the phrase “Geronimo” did not make an appearance even though it was clearly given great opportunity. I hope that is at least a signal of its abandonment. In any event, here is the trailer check it out, tell us what you think!
