Happy Valentine’s Day to the literally dozens of 2f readers everywhere. To celebrate we have selected one of our favorite characters, Yoko! She manages to warm even the cold mechanical hearts of us fedora wearing chaps, one Mech busting rifle round at a time. If you are unfamiliar with Yoko, she hails from one of the best animes ever made, Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann. This shot came from figure.fm and was posted by optimisticpenguin101. Brain Slug Cupcakes: Because Brain Slugs love brains and cupcakes.

These cupcakes had a layover on the Brain Slug planet and decided to stay of their own free will, so they say at least. Interesting side note Futurama writers had originally intended to keep Hermes Conrad under the Brain Slug effect for a lengthy duration, but opted not to, citing their love for his Caribbean accent.

Hey, check it out! A fig that “almost” doesn’t make us look like we have social problems. This rather dashing chap is Professor Layton, a character from the Nintendo DS puzzle game series.
